Patient Journey Snapshot

Referrals are triaged by Mr Mathew Jacob, and patients are contacted promptly. At the initial consultation, he reviews history, diagnosis and investigations, discusses management options, and organises a treatment plan. Patients receive clear pre-operative guidance, personalised surgical care, and structured follow-up, with the clinic available for ongoing support throughout recovery. Referring health providers are kept in the loop on the patient journey.

Minimal Wait Policy

Patients are usually seen promptly, with most routine appointments scheduled within one to two weeks. Urgent appointments are also accommodated where clinically indicated.

Direct Admission Policy

To ensure patients receive timely and cost effective care, GPs can discuss their Patients directly with Mr Jacob. Patients with a clear diagnosis who do not require resuscitation or other urgent investigations may be admitted directly to a hospital bed. This avoids the need for assessment through the Emergency Department, saving both time and costs.
